Call me naïve but when did we start rewarding bad customer behaviour who act like petulant little children? Today customers use social media as their outlet for their tantrums but should companies be going into crisis mode to appease them or should they be ignored?
I must admit that I am simply shocked ……. that it has taken mainstream media to pick on this topic. The use of social networking sites has long been used not only to source candidates, but do additional checks on them. Let’s not delude ourselves to think that there aren’t people checking up on their own employees! Some may call this research or background checking whilst others might simply call it stalking.
Whilst some countries are very well known for only accepting 1 page resumes, what is much less known is the reason why. Whether or not that reason is still valid today is up for debate. What's your thoughts on it?
