Going to an interview is similar to attending a business meeting – you are pitching a product – yourself . For this reason, candidates usually invest their time in fine tuning how they present themselves and their unique selling points. But how much time are they investing in their questions?
This is a question that I have posed to every job seeker that I have ever coached in interview skills and yet it is ONE not known (with any conviction) nor what is really means. But understanding this concept will change the way you perceive interviews and how to perform in them.
"Cultural fit" is one of those stereotypical phrases that is thrown around by Recruiters, HR and Hiring Managers and more often used as an excuse than anything concrete. But what the hell is "cultural fit" and how would I know if I have it?
