10 years ago, the use of professional resume writers was only employed by those that had something to hide – mainly those with language issues. But today applicants of all levels (from entry level to executives) are using this service. So what do you think - is it cheating or just smart outsourcing?
This is a question that I have posed to every job seeker that I have ever coached in interview skills and yet it is ONE not known (with any conviction) nor what is really means. But understanding this concept will change the way you perceive interviews and how to perform in them.
I must admit that I am simply shocked ……. that it has taken mainstream media to pick on this topic. The use of social networking sites has long been used not only to source candidates, but do additional checks on them. Let’s not delude ourselves to think that there aren’t people checking up on their own employees! Some may call this research or background checking whilst others might simply call it stalking.
