Going to an interview is similar to attending a business meeting – you are pitching a product – yourself . For this reason, candidates usually invest their time in fine tuning how they present themselves and their unique selling points. But how much time are they investing in their questions?
Call me naïve but when did we start rewarding bad customer behaviour who act like petulant little children? Today customers use social media as their outlet for their tantrums but should companies be going into crisis mode to appease them or should they be ignored?
There are a magnitude of reasons why people leave their current jobs and seek alternate employment. Are you looking for career advancement, job security, better work/life balance, a more dynamic work environment or a bigger salary? Or would it be a combination of these? And in order to achieve these, what are you willing to sacrifice?
